01 — The Problem

Our planet is drowning in plastic. We decided to change the narrative.

The Great Pacific Garbage Patch is 4× larger than Tajikistan — 566,040 km².

0%

Of all plastic produced is never recycled — ending up in landfills and oceans.

0%

Only a fraction of the world's plastic is recycled. We're here to change that.

02 — Deforestation

Traditional paper is destroying our forests

0

trees cut down every year for paper production

Massive Deforestation

Paper manufacturing is a leading cause of global forest loss — destroying habitats and biodiversity.

Water Pollution

Paper mills discharge toxic chemicals into rivers and ecosystems, threatening aquatic life.

Carbon Emissions

Deforestation accounts for up to 10% of global CO₂ emissions — accelerating climate change.

03 — Our Product

The real Eco-Notebook made by us

100% Recycled

04 — How It's Made

From plastic bottle to notebook

01

Collection

PET bottles collected from communities, beaches, and recycling points.

02

Cleaning & Processing

Sorted, cleaned, processed into fine plastic fiber for pages.

03

Sheet Production

Fibers compressed into smooth, durable writing sheets.

04

Notebook Assembly

Sheets bound into finished notebooks — waterproof & planet-friendly.

09 — Impact

Three problems. One solution.

Clean the Oceans

Each notebook = 6 bottles rescued from landfills & seas.

Save Forests

Zero trees cut. Replaces traditional paper manufacturing.

Empower Education

Affordable at $1.70. Durable for students everywhere.

10 — Vision

Scaling the impact: the road ahead

Phase 1 · Now

Local Launch

Pilot production, partner with local schools, gather feedback & refine process.

Phase 2 · Year 1

Regional Scale

Expand to 10+ cities, partner with recycling centers, train youth entrepreneurs.

Phase 3 · Year 3+

Global Impact

International distribution, open-source manufacturing, 1M bottles rescued annually.

11 — FAQ

Questions from the jury

QHow does plastic become a writing page?
PET plastic is shredded, melted into thin polymer sheets, then treated with a smooth coating. The result is a writable, printable surface.
QWhy exactly 6 bottles per notebook?
One 500ml PET bottle = ~20g plastic. Our A5 notebook uses ~120g. 120g ÷ 20g = 6 bottles.
QCan you write on it smoothly?
Yes — lab-tested with ballpoint, gel pen, and pencil. Coated for optimal friction and ink absorption. Plus water-resistant.
QHow is this different from existing eco-notebooks?
Most eco-notebooks use recycled paper — still cutting trees. We use zero trees and directly address plastic ocean pollution.
"We didn't wait for the world to change. We made a notebook and started changing it ourselves."
